Title: The Little Shop of Found Things

Hello my fellow Bookworms and page turners,

I have to say I really enjoyed this adventure, it had all of my favourite things, magic, time-travel and ghosts yea sure it had its obligatory lovey-duvey plot line which, I have to say I’m starting to get a bit blind to in this type of novel. But, for the most part it had me interested from the get go.

The story follows our main character, Xanthe, who is looking for a fresh start after leaving the place all books in England are set (that’s London in case you didn’t know). Xanthe now runs an antique store in Marlborough with her mother, Flora. Xanthe finds herself feeling a connection to the people that owned the items that they offer for sale in the shop. Then it becomes more than just a feeling….she touches one item and finds herself transported back to 1605, where a ghost demands Xanthe’s help with righting an injustice.

Naturally adventure then ensues as they try to unravel the mystery and the case surrounding the unfortunate end of this poor soul, who has now left ‘hanging’ around.

I highly recommend this book to other fantasy lovers. The ending although bittersweet sets up a good lead up into the second novel of the series.. I believe to date there are now four books in the series, and I will be looking into book two shortly!

Until next time, read more books!
