Hello my fellow Bookworms and Page Turners,
If like me you were unaware, today is ‘Poetry at work day‘ a day where alot of you write short poem about what you do in your typical working day!
With the pandemic still raging, not to mention and alot of other factors plaguing the world at the moment, I feel we could all do with a little bit of fun. Now I myself are currently unemployed but that isnt going to stop me joinging in on Poetry at work day, I will just put my own spin on it!
” I may be jobless for one more week,
but come Monday a new adventure I no longer seek.
Surrounded by books and bardgames a plenty,
I feverlishly write blogs, this week makes twenty.
You see today is poetry at work day,
but myself being jobless I celebrate this my own way.
Stacks of notes for reviews piled high,
like a hobby strewn staircase leading upto the sky.
For with each step I take brings me out of this depression,
for blogging is my most recent obsession.”
