Hello my fellow Bookworms and Page turners! Way back in around April 2014, I came across a Kickstarter that made my eyes go wide in surprise and amazement! Something like this..

What brought on such a reaction?.. well hold onto your butts! because im going to tell you BOOKniture! that’s what!DSC_0214

The Story of Bookniture began with a designer called Mike Mak who while based in one of the most densely populated city found a way for people to utilize there small area of  Living and working space. While attending a furniture expo an he was given some honeycomb board sample and was amazed by the strength and load capacity of this structure. This structure is widely used in the furniture industry composite boards for shelves and tables. I took this sample back as a decor on my bookcase

Like most people, he really likes having his friends over at his house, but due to the nature of the size of housing, it isn’t possible to have multiple chairs due to the sufficient lack of space. So more often then enough they had to sit on the floor. if only there was furniture that didn’t take up much space when you didn’t need it.  Is that even possible? One day however, the empty space on my bookcase and the honeycomb sample caught my eyes. Then came the spark of a new idea: BOOKNITURE!

And at long last! mine has arrived! so now I can read my books in style, while sitting on my very own Book chair, my only regret?.. not ordering a second one when I originally backed it! You too can get your own BOOKniture at there official website here!
