Hello my fellow wordsmiths & page turners,
Today is national Poetry day, and I must admit it’s not really my forte. But thought I would give it a go, and this is what I have to show:
Hip, Hip, Hurray,
For its National Poetry day,
a day to look pretty,
and write a little ditty.
but make sure it rhymes in a way.
But if you can’t make it rhyme,
worry not, for it’s not a crime,
so do not cry and curse,
simply pick up a pen, count to ten,
and note a little french verse.
If you can do any better, which I am sure you all can. Send in your verses, in the comments as fast as you can.
